You want to up the cars performance, or would you rather just look good/sound fast? If you do, I'd go ahead and get a y pipe. CM only sells the cattman pipe, so it's $300+. If it wasn't credit, you could get budget or warpspeed for under $200.
horrible services, and some real crappy items .. i.e. dc clears
( lots of water condinsation ) and the sales manager says:
" sorry, we dont warrenty items, and plus they are made is sweat shops somewhere, if they had a warrenty they would cost hundereds "
Good luck

Please, this isn't a thread about bashing CM. If you have a problem with them take it up in an already established thread in the dealer/vender forum. He simply wanted some input on what to get from them. He has a gift certificate, so therefore the question about him ordering from there isn't going to change, only scare him. Please, lets stay on topic here.
My suggestions is that your interior is lacking a little bit and therefore spice it up a little bit and get a brushed aluminum dash kit, or how about chrome gauge rings and bezel, kinda like mine
( I have an extra piece in there, but nonetheless still looks awesome. When I first put the combo together, it felt like I was driving a classic Benz

yeah i think im gonna go with the dash kit and maybe the rings i have a few questions though-
are the rings hard to install?
how do you think they will look with my stock black gxe gauge faces?
if i need to remove anything that gets the dash kit over it - will i mess up the kit? (ex, i want to replace my head unit so i have to pry the center dash pieces off to get the head unit out)
thanks

Um, the rings are not difficult to install. It just takes some patience. The first time I did it, I was a little cautious because I didn' want to break anything. Everything went well. The install is a little lengthy, but not very hard.
If you were going to install a new HU, you would have to pull up the shifter trim and then unscrew the ash tray and then pull off the top vents. From there, there are four screws that hold the 3 DIN's and the climate control in there (1 whole unit) that comes off and then there are screws on the side of the HU which when removed the HU will simply slide out from the front. So all in all, no, you wouldn't have to remove the dask kit to replace the HU.
