I have 99 Maxima with 145k miles. Knock on wood no major troubles yet. Very recently I noticed that when I turn right I hear some kind of metal scraping noise (hissingand crank! Crank!). I lifted the front wheels to check for any abbrasions....Nothing is touching the wheel or tires. has Any one of you had a similar problem? Any suggestions what it could be? I am also looking to replace my spark plugs. What is the best and cheapest source to get the NGK platinum plugs.

my friends car had that problem, felt like it was rubbing and making noise when he would make right turns also, he had to get a new axle
