question about hacked airbox noise

installed my ypipe, im about to do the hacked airbox mod, id like to keep the noise to a minimal as stock as possible, should i drill lots of smaller holes? or larger holes with more spacing? thanks in advance

I would guess if you wanted less sound, you'd have to turn the airbox into swiss cheese and makes lots of little holes, instead of one gaping hole... just a guess though :-\
