making a shift light help!!!!!

so everyone has seen tony's shift lite on custommaxima.com, i plan on ridding my car of the monster tach soon but would really like to have a shift lite still. does anyone know how to fabricate one? and how would you get it to go off at a certain rpm? maybe possibly have it adjustable?

Just buy one. The one I have is made by Proform. It has a dial in the back to set the RPM so you dont need to purchase any "pills" like the Auto Meter one.
It cost around 50.00 bucks and you can get it through Summit.
