Engine code???

Engine code???

I just got my 46500 mile 99 maxima automatic trans rebuilt because of the bad solenoids that they seem to of made, (burned clutches from granny shifts) and i got a code right away, i did it the turn screw count the blinking lights way and come up with 0211 (the first two blinks were fast and twice and the other 11 were just slow. But i cant find this code any where, when i looked under hood there was a brown connector that was below the coolent sensor that was diconnected and it seemed to ran into the engine mount, and never come out does anyone know what this is? by the way the engine light went out after i plugged it in and cleared the codes but just curious?

you got it in the reverse order. i am assuming you had. "short pulse, short pulse" and "long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse, long pulse". according to http://vbxmaxima.8m.com/ecu.html , it was 1102, NOT 0211.

code 1102 = Revolution Sensor, therefore you have Revolution Sensor problem.

no the first 2 flashes were quick and the other 11 were slow
what the hell is a revolution sensor anyway??

i see your not a donating member, so i searched up for you.

this is a very uncommon CEL you have. the forum gave me 4 results, and non of them gave a clear explanation regarding this problem. even kevlo doesn't have a solution to it.

this is the first time i find the org. is not helpful. i suggest go contact an experienced mechenic friend before taking it in to the stealership (dealership). if you don't have any experienced mechenic friend, just go straight to dealership and tell them you need to get your revolutionary sensor fix. (don't ask them to diagnosis the CEL for you, cuz that cost like $80.)

and if you do happen to fix your problem, please post back to the org so we can have some reference in the future. thx

slow flashes are first, fast flashes second. Try counting again maybe.

I found that one was unplugged by the trans shop and never plugged back in and that was the revolution sensor which is in the front engine mount, I have no idea why it is in there the wire goes in and dosen't come out and i had another transm code which was the speed sensor which was on the trans itself.
But when i pulled the codes it was 2 fast flashes first then 11 slow ones i did it again so?? Maybe that was it was the trans code? maybe they come up like that? Either was it is fixed

But the main reason why i had my transm overhauled was because of the solenoid codes i got, (low line pressure) they pressure tested my third gear clutches because it would rev slightly (about after 15 miles of driving) before switching to fourth, and would not do it if i had od off. And they raised the pressure a bit so i don't think that it is that.Now after they replaced everything in the trans and it still did it today after i got it back?? Do any of you guys know what would be wrong with it? Drop res or something simple maybe? All i know is im now out 1500.00 Any input would be greatly appreciated.
