De-modded the max..feels like $h!+...

I de-modded the max to sell it (this coming weekend) and it feels like crap. No RSB, FSTB, and no rear H&Rs/Tokicos (could not get fronts off by myself). Even w/ good tires and wider offset on my rims, is leans a lot, corners sloppily, and generally feels like a different car. This makes me more certain than ever that handling mods play a large role in how the car feels, and it is not all in our heads (placebo effect). I was just driving like normal and thought to myself "I am all over the road in these turns- I must need air in my tires," and then i remembered that the car was de-modded. For those of you thinking that it is not a big difference, I can verify that the ight suspension setup makes it feel like a new car altogether.

Man that sucks, will you be selling any of your mods? I would be intrested in your RSB for a decent price.

I am buying an I30t, so most of the mods (RSB, FSTB, White gauges, Springs, stereo, etc.) will be moving over, unless I need cash quickly...

I would possibly be interested in the Tokicos if you end up selling them. Just let me know.
I have not had all that on my car yet. I am getting there. I cannot wait to have something that you are missing...ha ha

I think you will like the subtle differeces you will find with the I. Any chance of finding a 5spd?

If I know which car it is, it is a 5 speed. I agree, I really like the subtle differences between the two cars. Pat- what happened with that woman that wanted to buy your car?

I have a local guy buying them, but if it falls through I will let you know. Bad thing is that I cannot get the fronts off w/o help, and the car is being picked up tomorrow, so the guy might just get free front H&Rs and tokicos...

It really sux, that is for sure.

It is the car that you are thinking of...

I gave up on the woman I told you about and sold it to a guy who is paying $200 MORE AND is not making me deal with the BS.

Now back on OEM-sized tires and Nick's GLE rims, I am even more soft and squishy in turns.

The I30 has Intrax and AGX, and I will transfer over the RSB/FSTB combo. I will either run my Mille 16" rims or get GOOD 15" tires fot the "t" BBS rims...

Sounds like it all worked out nicely for you. You should come to the next track meet man. Be good to see another I30 there.
