I've been looking for some sound clips of different intake types, but I had no luck.

Can someone tell me in writing how the intake sounds differ from one to another?
Or, if you can, post links to sound clips of different intakes?

One more thing, how many resonators does the max have? I thought it had one connected to the trottle body but I want to be sure...

BOMz CAI sounds more like "blaaaaaheeeeeaaaah!" and popcharger sounds more "broooommmmm!"
I can also hear "shh....shh,.." sound from the CAI, it's a very neat sound =) and at WOT it sounds hella loud!

Your max has 2. The first is underneath the battery tray. the pipe to it comes of the bottom of the back of the intake scoop. The second comes off the box between the MAF sensor and the throttle body. See small box bolted to the air intake scoop on top, and the line going from it to the previously mentioned box just before TB? As soon as the weather gets a little warmer I am going to remove both of these. I believe 97-99's have just the resonator under the battery tray. Removing the resonator on my friends 2000 civic si made a huge difference in sound on the low end, but I am not sure what is does to the max.

i think custommaxima.com has a sound clip of their cai. or at least they use to. i LOVE the way my cold air sounds......very loud and throttly/scary at WOT
