Questions about Intakes...

I've got a few questions cuz now I'm confused...

1. Is the velocity stack offered with the Stillen Intake a crucial element which separates it from all other popchargers?
Or are all popchargers pretty much the same?

2. Is it better to use a cone filter with a custom mid pipe without the resonator or better attached to the MAF?

3. Is that what you call a Hybrid (no resonator)?

4. Why do popchargers lose low end power compared to a CAI?

5. Since a popcharger is connected to the MAF with the resonator in tact, why is it louder than the stock?

6. Does that mean that the CAI or Hybrid louder than the popcharger because it doesn't have a resonator?

I'm sorry if this is making you feel like you're taking a test.
I just got confused reading the different posts...

1. Pop charger is a Jim Wolf Technologies brand name. There is only 1 Pop Charger the JWT one. For some reason Maxima guys like to call all warm air intakes, pop chargers. Guess its like kleenex or NOS.

Do a search on the net for pop charger and see what shows up. Nothing but JWT.

2. Stillen stole the design which includes the velocity stack.

3. A hybrid is a CAI with the cold air pipe removed and just using the mid section.
