I am thinking of getting a different grill for my max and I'm not sure what one I should get cause I ahvent been able to see either of these in person on a max. What do all of you guys have and whats your opinions. I originally liked the SMX grill and wouldnt give the billet grill the time of day but I'm really starting to like it. So now I have to make a choice or just stay with stock, but you all know how hard it is to just leave something stock. Especially after you have been thinking about it to much!

If yours is 97-99 and you're trying to go with SMX grill, then it won't work, unless you want to do some custom fittin work...but i've seen it on 99 max and it still doesn't look right. As much as I like SMX grill, I would only put it on 95-96 model. I hear you though...I love that SMX grill myself.

grill

for your 99 max., the billet grill is for you, the smx is not for the 99.

smx makes the car look to much like the grand prix and grand ams front..they are def better then the billet though, my opinion, stay stock..neither option given is very good

Damn! I completely forgot that the smx grill will only fit a 95-96 max. I have a 99 and was not thinking obviously. I really like it but I wouldnt want to do anything that involves custom work other than clearing out the amber in the tail lights. Well I guess its stock or billet right? I still havent seen enough billet grills yet. I was looking at the thread about the Max that is in the new movie, THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS and was checking out some of the pictures of that Maxima thats in the move and it looks like it has a billet grill or some type of grill thats similar to a billet. Anyone know what it is for sure? Cause I really liked the way that grill looked but it looked a little different for some reason.

I really like how the upper and lower billet looks on your car wicked. Where and how much did you get them? Where they hard to install?

How did you get the godfather grille to fit in your car? I heard it needed a lot of modification? Do you have any install pics? Thanks in advance.

Hey wicked, what kind of grill is it. I'm looking at the grills right now on godfather.com and there two of them and there polished and non polished. Yours looks polished but I'm not sure. What is the valence framed perimeter grill, and then theres just the framed perimeter grill. Which is which and where does each one go. I think the polished would look the best.
