Ok, so I got the boot off, and everything down there... pretty got it down to where I can see the tranny... but how do I get the shifter out, the little plate that holds the ball on the original shifter on, how do I get THAT off??????

 

well now I feel stupid... but nm about that.... guess I need to look on the internet more before I ask questions...
