is there a way to adjust trunk torsion bars (or whatever they're called)??

just been wondering how you do that since i got my spoiler put on forever ago, it doesn't pop up as much as it did before of course because of the added weight. i assume there's gotta be a way to do it, i'll search through the chiltons manual but figured i'd check on here because someone has to have done it. i know on the new carbon fiber trunk lids that they pop up quickly because of the weight reduction and heard people mentioned fixing the torsion bars. any ideas?

not a huge deal, just one of those things...thanks
