the drop is as much as H&R's and lots of people get those.

I would like to know the answer to these questions, cause I just bought some maxspeed's recently.

I've had maxspeeds on stock struts for about 1k, it's a little rough at times but I think my struts are starting to go. The car only has 34k, so I don't know if your 92k struts will last very long. I have heard of other people going 5-10k+ on OE struts with maxspeeds though. The car handles well (probably not quite as well as with aftermarket struts), I wish the drop was a little bigger but I'm happy with it. This summer I'll be replacing the struts with KYBGR2s.

damn 34k? that's practically a new 8 year old car. But Richard, there's not much to know besides the fact that your stock struts will take a beating and that you may bottom out if you were to take speedbumps fast. Just act as if your car was slammed and take those speedbumps and driveways slowly and you shouldn't have any problems.

Yeah, the mileage was low enough for me to ignore the fact that it was an auto. Anyway, I've only bottomed out once so far and it was an unavoidable deep pothole. I always take speedbumps and driveways slowly. Potholes are the biggest threat around here though, the roads are really horrible. I'm still able to avoid a lot of those though. I think part of the reason my struts are dying so quickly is because of the roads around here.

I bought some stock SE struts all 4 for $18.00 from an online member who took them off his 1999 Maxima at 18,000 miles I installed them w/my Max Speed springs and I blew the rear struts in two days, all the oil leaked out, I then went on Ebay to find some replacement rear struts I ended up getting some brand new KYB GR-2’s for $56.00 and I installed them recently! I am currently running the stock SE struts in the front and they are fine! When/if they blow I will replace them w/KYB GR-2’s.
