Smell of fuel from the front end of the car, especially when cold...
I just got my car emissions tested last week and while I passed, my mechanic noticed that there was a pretty noticeable smell of gasoline, which seemed to be focused around the front end of the car. It seems like the exhaust gasses aren't overly rich, but I'm just wondering whats up?
I do have a SES light, and when I pulled the codes it gave me 0708, which has to do with the EVAP canister, I guess there could be some relation, but I don't know a lot about the EVAP canister in general, so if anyone has some idea, it'd be appreciated. (Also, how expensive of a repair would it be to replace the canister, cause I have read it won't effect much of anything, but driving with the SES light is a bit annoying.
