Hello All,

I have a squeek coming from my suspension. It only happens when I go over bumps. I cannot isolate the problem and the squeek cannot be reproduced when you push down on the front.

I have Tein S Tech springs in the front and Kyb agx's. Both less than 3000 miles.

I have replaced my strut mounts, brake pads, rotors, wheel bearing, strut bearing, and front hub.

I have also tried to WD40 the bumps stops and some of the bushings to no avail.

I think it may be the bushings or a bad KYB strut. I can only hear the sounds on the drivers side and only when I go over bumps big and small. Please help, it is driving me crazy.

To add to my list of woahs, my alternator is dying and I will need to replace that soon. It's been whining and vibrating.

cattman has 4 kyb dustboots (front+rear) for $68 shipped. basically they help your shocks to last longer.

my friend's koni yellow had similar problems like you. after he got the dustboots and noises were gone.

 

ii had the same type of noise, any size bump or unlevel road, wound up being the bpipe hitting the rail underneat and squeaking beacuse of two surfaces scraping each other, not sure its your case, but its and idea nonetheless

 

Do you have spring isolators installed? If not the coils rubbing together can cause a squeak. Urethane bushing can squeak if not properly greased. Dry control arm bushing, bad ball joint....are some things to check
