once u take the stock air box, u gonna see a little small sensro in one of the pipes, its the same size as the hole on the injen intake. take that out and plug it in the intake. its really easy and ull see it once u take the stock assembly off.

im gonna give u a quick write up.

first take off the stock air box
then take off the mass air flow sensor which is a black box.

hook up the mas air flow sensor to the intake pipes (it goes in the middle).
stick in the small sensor we just talked about.
assemble the entire intake out of the car.
drop it in
tighten everything.
take off the clamp from the firewall and hook up the sensor that u just put in the intake pipe.

these are basic and came from the top of my head. !

Yeah i pretty sure thats what its for.....except that on my 95 its a little diff than on my buddys 98. The sensor on the 98 is round and will plug right into that hole, on my 95 is a screw and gasket type deal, i had to insert it into the hole and tape it for now. Does any one know if the newer sensors are a direct replacement for the older one?

I had the same problem with the real injen intake they said on there web site that I needed the rd1925 for my 98 max but I when I ordered it the air sensor input was wrong. it seems that nissan made some of the 98 max's with the newer style sensor I had to wait 3 weeks for them to send me the right one the rd1930
