I am in need of a spare key for my maxima b/c when i bought it it did not come with one. the dealerships around me say 45$ for the key itself, and another 40$ for installlation. Is there a way i can activate it myself? i wanna save the 40 and spend it elsewhere. I noticed when we bought our Ford Expedition they just put the key in the door and tiwssted it a couple of times and were done. Thanks for the help!
