I have a couple of problems

well for one there seems to be a lot of vibration while driving just got an alignment 2 weeks ago(just got rims a couple days ago so might need another one). and there sounds like something rattles on the under front of the car. car does need a tune up. so is that the mian problem?

first thing you want to do is get your tires balanced. As far as the vibration coming from the front end, might be due to the unbalanced tires or try running your car in neutral in your drive way to see if anythings shaking.

tires were balanced and put on when I bought the rims just 5 days ago. i had my dad check the car with me. he reved it up and we listened to it and it sounded fine(other than the lifters tapping a little). all problems are when the car is in motion. I might just need another alignment and a new suspension

Man to be honest your alignment isnt going to cure the vibration issue at all. Try taking your ride to another place that does balancing. I know I would take mine to discount tire and I would have hella vibration, then I took it to a different discount tire and no vibe at all. I know you said your tires were balanced when you bought your rims but just try it again. Start off with the least expensive and work your way up.

Check your lugnuts. I had a loose one that would rattle and click when in motion; tightening it down solved the problem.

just went and checked my rims and there are no balancing weights on them. I called the place that I bought the rims and tires from and they said that some rims dont need weights is this true? they are going to rebalance them just to make sure

Some rims dont need weights to balance them?????? WTF? This would be true if your tire was perfectly balanced from the manufacturer. Your not balancing the rim your balancing the tire. Dont go to discount tire 1st off. The tires there suck and so does the service. Discount tire buys second grade tires from major manufacturers (i.e. the tire make be an oblong circle instead of a true round circle). Though these tires may be with in the manufacturers quality spec the are not as good as others. Tire balancing is basically the same cost no matter where you go. Its about $15 a tire. Take it to a real automotive shop and stay away from Discount Tire.
