Is it important to treat the contact surfaces with Vinyl application fluid before attaching them?
I cannot find this fluid anywhere.
Is there an alternative ?

Any info/pointers will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks
Deb

Gauge overlay (reply from import Intelligence)

You can use 1qt of water and 1 drop of liquid dish detergent as an substitute but it will take a bit longer to dry, also make sure you squeegee out all the excess fluid very well.

Before you do lay on the water and liquid dish detergent, make sure you clean your current guages with alcohol pads, or if you do not have those, use a lint free cloth and rubbing alcohol. This will clean any excess material that you can not see with the naked eye. Hope this helps.
