I was thinking of getting an Ebay generic intake for my 97 Maxima. I would be getting this for sound only. Does anyone have these? Are they OK to get for just sound. I am in no means interested in performance. Any input appreciated.

 

any of them should be pretty loud and help the car breathe a little better so pick one thats the cheapest and get it...

 

remove your muffler, thatll be nice and loud....add one more to the intake question list, totalling to #10000000

Yes, get the ebay intake... I have the ebay CAI and its a okay in my book... the CAI is better for throttle responce but not as good as stock intake..

my CAI sounds nice.

 

LOL. I understand completely, I belong to a Honda forum and you see the same posts repeatedly day in and day out. I tried the search function and it said I couldn't use it though. I used to have a Civic and spent a lot of money on it, intake, exhaust, etc., etc. so I didn't want to spend a lot on the Maxima. Thanks for the replies.
