Odd vapor lock/sputtering and dying problem. Any suggestions/help?

Alrighty, I'm a noob, but I went through the 4th gen threads and couldn't find one that addresses this.

I have a 95 GLE, no engine mods, 135k mi., and it will sputter and die in odd situations. It started out last summer as what I thought was a vapor-lock problem. When the engine would warm up all the way, then I would turn it off for a couple minutes but not long enough to cool off all the way, it wouldn't start. Once or twice it died on me at a stoplight. Now that it's starting to warm up again, it's just straight up dying on me. It usually happens when I slow down a lot to turn, or if I have to hit my brakes while I'm in 45-mph traffic. it sputters and flutters to sub-1000 rpm. Occassionally I can prevent it from dying if I shift into neutral and rev the engine, but at least half of the time it dies when this happens.

The check engine light's been on intermitently since I got it 4 years ago, but haven't bothered to check on it. I have been running Bosch plugs for 2 or 3 years now, and I did read some disturbing things about Bosch vs. NGK, could that be the problem? what the hell is going on with my car!?!? any help would be GREATLY appreciated.

So you've been running the same plugs for 2-3 years. That probably isn't the problem but it doesn't help anything. We can't help you diagnose it unless you give us the code. Not being rude here. Go check your code and then report back. Doesn't sound like a vapor lock situation because it is so consistant.
