Corner light rewire for a 99

In 4th gen How-tos, I found instructions for the rewire for 95-96, but does that mean that 97-99 is different or cannot be done?
Please point me the right way or post instructions if possible

Yup, it is very similar.

Here is the ghetto way http://unibomber.netfirms.com/

The right way is just to unsolder the wire from the 1st filament and solder it to the other filament on the connecting bulb socket for the corner light. That way you are running the brighter filament and not the lower one. It's not recommended to wire the socket to use both since many people have complained that by running both, it may cause the corner light housing to crack due to the heat issues. Should take you 10 minutes tops.
