Best Lowering Setup

Hey guys,
Ive been saving up to lower my car. I have 18's on maxy. How low should i go. I dont want to spend to much. I was thinkin GR2's with Tien H springs. I really dont need all the adjustable struts with all the gizmos and gadgets. All i really want is a lowered look. I dont want it to ride to rough but i know lowering will fell more sporty. I found GR2s for 219. Good Price? I looked at the Maxmod page but i want some personal experience.

THanks

Sean

I have Progress and GR-2. It rides a little firmer than stock but it is not bad at all. Pics on my homepage.

I have Tuned by Matrix springs and Tokico HP Seris shocks. Since everything settled down with the setup the ride is stiffer than stock but it is a nice sporty ride. no complaints at all. BTW, the $219 is a good price!

Love my Eibachs and AGX, but I would recommend the GR-2 and any drop around 1.5 to 1.7, anything else is too low. The Tein H's are a great choice.

Is it really worth getting adjustable struts unless you plan to autoX on a track or whatever?

I just got the funds, and i'm thinking GR2's with tociko springs.
Any suggestions on good springs for cheap?
Any feedback?

I have Dropzone springs and struts. I love them. They are alot stiffer than stock, but are not harsh or bouncy. The best part is that there is zero roll in corners. So far I haven't had any bottoming problems.

I got Tein S. Tech and Tokico Illuminas and the ride is quality. for this setup. The bumps on the road aren't harsh. The Illuminas really know how to absorb shock.

I'm running H&Rs and AGXs and I love the ride...not sure if its settled yet...they were installed on Tuesday, so we'll see...but the drop is great and the ride is almost stock like.
