anyone greased their timing chain?

has anyone taken the timing chain cover off and greased the chain?
i wanted to make it a weekend project just for the car to feel young again.
if anyone has done it . . . . what steps did you take and what products did you use?

This would be stupid IMO. Oil hits the chain and lubes it as soon as you turn on the car. Give your car a tune up if you want to feel young again. (I.E. Spark plugs, new filters, ect...)

Check the howto's for a list of things to do.

i didn't think regular oil ran through the timing chain.
