I need to upgrade the brakes on my 1999 Se-Limited. I have a few questions...

1.) Cross-drilled or slotted? Which is best, why??
2.) Best Place to purchase Cross Drilled or Slotted Rotors other than Stillen?
3.) Best Pad to replace OEM. I don't like squeel or dust..
4.) Anyone replace the front rotors and calipers with those from an Infiniti Q45?? Bigger Caliper.. I heard it could be done.. True?? I heard that you must only cut heat shield and then they should work...
5.) Anyone have the above for sale????

I replaced my stock front brakes with Wilwood SuperLites. Jamming the pedal is like dropping a tail hook. Pictures if you want by email.

Hey Cloud,

Can you give an estimate on the cost of your brake upgrade?

I don't remember exactly but it was about 1/2 the cost, or less, of Stillen's upgrade kit. I was considering Stillen but previous bad experience with Stillen and their high price made me decide to look around. I called the shop that made my CAI and Y-pipe and he designed/fabricated the mount bracket and rotor adaptor (hat) for my car.

The pedal feels soft but if I jam on the brakes you want to be buckled in. Compared to stock it's like night and day.

If you call Max-Rev and talk to Curtis (480-967-8078) tell him you heard about his brake kit from me. I think you should be able to get it for <$1,500.
