Instead of forcing myself to pay and have this auto transmission rebuilt (115k) im strongly looking into a 5 speed conversion. Local i could not find anything but on ebay i found a 5 spd for 800 dollars (is that a good price?). For anyone who has done this and is reading this now -- how much did you pay for the transmission and how much was labor / where did you have this done at? Thanks for any answers you can give me. I would do it myself but im 17, probably would not be smart.
