I used the brake booster cable very easy to find, but since it is so big you must do it slowly.

If you are on the drivers side of your engine bay, look at the top of your steering wheel and follow that straight back. The first component going into the firewall is your power steering booster. There is only one vacuum line on it that goes to the middle of the manifold, this is the one you want to use.

www.seafoamsales.com/motorTuneUpTechGas.htm

This is the correct web site. Sorry about that. Sea Foam can be purchased at NAPA and Car Quest...maybey OReilly's.

NAPA here keeps it behind the counter. The salesman told me that they sell this stuff to a majority of the dealerships and garages in town which use it to clean fuel injectors and upper manifold intakes. I have been using it for some time now and I have to say, IT"S GREAT STUFF.

I pay 6.80 for the spray per can and $5.50 for the liquid form.

Chris, you use a whole can per flush?
Do you think a 99 would already need to use such a thing?
What are all the advantages or disadvantages?

I used half a pint in the manifold, half a pint in the gas and it seemed to work great for me. My exhaust sounds quieter and more tuned, like there is less resistance. The throttle is also much more responsive. Just follow the directions on the bottle.....

cool, thanks.

Has anyone every talked to any mechanics about this to see if we are harming anything by using it?
I am just not one to go out and try a gimmick on my nice car. Not saying that I trust you guys, but I just want some more opinion on people that do nothing but work on cars.

Going by what the manufacturer says, Sea Foam will not harm 02 sensors nor converters.

I have used this stuff for years on many different cars of mine and have not had any problems with the 02 sensors or cats.

Good luck and let us know your results.
