Starter Noise Fix ISSUES

Well, i got in the mood to do some work to baby, i flushed the tranny, changed the filter and gasket, no too fun, but tranny now feels more smooth.....however then i ventured to fix my starter, i got the motorvate diy guide on how to re-lube it, and i followed the instructions, removed the battery, intake n such, i got the two bolts off the starter itself, removed the wires it said to, but then it told me to remove the two bolts that hold the assembly on, the first had a bracket right in front of it, and it was a bi*ch to get started, but i got the tip one out, but the side one, first of all, it is a pretty big bolt, and i had no room whatsoever to move my hand while gripping the ratchet, i had my hand all twisted through wires and parts... i finally got a hold of the bolt, but no dice, that thing is on there pretty tight, i have no idea how to get the darn thing off, the guide said it is supposed to be rather easy and quick, but thats hardly the case... I have no clue if i'm doing something wrong, but if someone can get some pics of how to get that bolt off, or just a more detailed how to, please help me, that noise is getting to me...thanks

I used a 17mm socket + 1 1/2" extension bar + 1/2" drive breaker bar (4-foot). Remove the airbox and rubber intake (all the way to the throttle body) for easier access.
