Painting Valve Cover
Hey guys,
paintin my valve cover is something on my to do list. I saw this pic of a cover painted graphite on here. I want to paint mine like that. When i paint it how should i go about doing it. Do i need to prime it then sand it? Could you guys post some pics if you have any?
Thanks
Sean

u cant get it crome plated its a plastic peice....
to paint it just take the cover off and wash it down with some warm soap and watter possibly a brillo pad, just make sure there is nothing on it. go out and buy a high heat paint/engine enamel and just paint it, no need to sand it or primer it. make sure its clean or else the paint will bubble
