Just bought a 95 SE. Love it. Came with some big *** 17 inch chrome alloys. the guys gave the stock wheels to the salvation army. so I need to pick up some stock alloys. Should I buy 1)95 Se alloys 2)99 Se alloys 3)2000 Se alloys or 4)2000 GLE alloys. Please help haven't noticed too many maximas until now.

What brand and size are the tires? The 2000 SE rims are 17X7, so you could use the same tires, in theory. The rest are smaller. Some people say that they are the best looking too.

wheels

the tires on the car are 235/45/17. I plan on keeping these wheels until I stop feeling like paying $250 a tire. I wanted to pick up some stock alloys to have just in case. I can't decide which stock alloys to get. Thanks

just in case of what?.....you decided you didnt want the car to be flashy or you wanted to save weight??.....well i got some 97se 16's but i kinda went sliding sideways into a curb with them so they are a lil on the scratched side. Now i got these on the car...

I have a question...

Can you fit the 235/45/17 tires on the 17X7 OEM SE wheels? I know the OEM tire is 225/50/17...wondering if you can do that...anyone know how you can figure that out?

Thanks!

wheels

just I case I don't feel like dishing out the cash for 17 inch tires or if I decide to take my car up to the snow and need to throw on some chains. I'm just trying to get a feel for what people think would look the best. Thanks

2000se

I would go for the 2000se, the new ones... 17", and they still look real good. A little more expensive though

Whoa.....dont use chains.....snow tires man, snow tires....chains are some risky business.....but the 97se 16's look pretty good, i just think they look a lil plain, thats all.

I like the 2000 GLE rims..

They look more smooth and the 5 spoke design is nice, better then the 97-99, at least to me...
