Foglight installation ?'s

is there a way to install stock fog lights without using the oem wires. Could i purchase a wire kit at auto zone and wire them to a seperate switch? Also, do i have to take off the front bumper to install? I remember there were some intstructions online to install, does anyone have the site?

It's in your owner's manual. You really don't need instructions for the 97+. If you looked at them you would've known that. There is a screw jolding in the black plastic and then there is another holding in the housing.

No need to take off the front bumper to install the Nissan foglight. You need to cut off the thin strip of plastic that is in the middle of the foglight opening. Then remove the mud shield and install from beneath (and behind) the bumper.

Why would he do it from behind the bumper? No cutting or anything is required. The 97 are so easy to do, takes 5 minutes to do both sides from the front. Why do you want to use separate wiring and stuff. The existing wires are there all you probably need is a relay and fuse but only if the car didn't come with fogs stock. Even then I don't think you need it.

insert the bracket from behind the bumper, the bracket is secured to the front bumper frame by 3 screws in an L shape, if you feel around you'll find them. The big rectangular silver thing is the front bumper frame I'm talking about, the holes will be on the underside of that
