Bulbs for Step Light and Map Light?

In a 1999 Max, the step (door/courtesy) light is a 2.7-watt wedge bulb (161). Can I put a 5W PIAA wedge bulb in these without problems?

The map light (AKA "front personal light") is a really weird 10-watt bulb. The manual does not give a bulb number for it. Has anyone replaced it sucessfully? I want to put a really bright bulb there to match a PIAA Xtreme White dome light, and I need to know what type goes there.

Thanks, that's great. More complete than any Maxima bulb chart I've seen.

That 1895 bulb, although it will fit, will suck (not anywhere near bright enough. I found that a bulb made by Raybrig in Japan worked great. The key is that it should be at least 8 watts... Check this out:
