Looks like I will have to do MEVI install solo
Hey all, I want to get my MEVI in before a track day this sunday. Wednesday, tomorrow, Im gonna go to the 1/4 track and that takes up all day. So I am thinking Thursday and Friday and (Hopefully not, but its possible) Saturday will be available to get the install down right.
But Im a little worried. I dont want to screw anything up before the track day and Im kind of a newbie when it comes to mechanical stuff.
Is there anyone who would be able to help out if I run into problems between Thursday and Saturday with advice? Just wondering how much help I can expect from the .org
All the talk about coil packs (I dont know what they even look like) and RPM gagues (I dont know where to tap to get the RPM signal - was it a wire from the ECU? eesh) and cigarette power cords (Dont have a clue where that is) and vacuum source (I think the writeup got into where I can cut and add a "T" to get my vaccuum source) makes me wonder if I am possibly getting in over my head. Then again, people have said that its not too bad...
What should I do? Thanks for your advice.
