I'd replace them if your highway mileage is less than 26mpg and if your city mileage is less than 18mpg. Then again, when was the last time you changed your fuel filter?

A lot of people think the useful life of an O2 sensor is about 100k... my CEL came on for one of the front sensors at about 95k... I decided at that time to just replace both - you can get each sensor for about 80 bucks - and if you do it yourself, labor is free.

Others members of the org have achieved better gas mileage with new O2 sensors...
