Our stock ignition systems are more than sufficient. There are ppl running over 400 WHP with no spark problems.

well if we can run over 400 hp on stock ignition system does that mean upgrading the ignition will not give us any better performance? i was always curious when ever someone says our stock ignition is good enough. i mean the stock y pipe is good enough to help give the max 190hp but with an upgraded y pipe we can get so much more.

You're looking at it the wrong way. An ignition system is not a power "adder" per se. You buy an upgraded ignition out of necessity, not because you want your car to be faster. Cause if that's what you're after, you'll be sorely disappointed. You buy a y-pipe to be faster. That's like saying you're installing a high-pressure Walbro fuel pump to add HP. It's completely unnecessary unless you're boosted, much like an upgraded ignition and even then, it would take extreme power levels to overcome the stock ignition.

You're logic is pretzeled bruh...

well thanx for clearing that up bruh... your explanation is the 1st ive seen that makes sense. i understand what you are saying with the fuel pump and i see what you mean since an upgraded fuel pump isnt really an HP add on, i guess the same could be said for ignition

I believe the HKS Twin Power ignition unit can be used on out car. To my knowledge it is the only system compatable with our DIS. The only person I know who has it is 1Max2NV, I have not read anything on it but I have seen a picture of it in his engine bay.
