does the ecu contol the idle

On Sunday I did a self diagnostic and got back error codes that informed me that i needed a front heated o2 sensor, and a knock sensor. After the check the service engine soon light no longer was on. Yesterday I noticed that my car was idling alot higher than normal. It usually idles at the first mark beneath the 1000 rpms mark no it is right below 1. Any ideas of what could have caused this???

I believe the correct spot is in the center, though you might want to check me on this.

The IACV controls idle and from what I read the IACV isn't connected to the ECU in any way. Why are you worried about a 100rpm increase during cold idle?

CORRECTION!!!
The ECU does apparently control idle as well. Good day.
