making factory alarm beep mod

I checked out the "how to" on this, but i can,t make heads or tails of the connections to the "add on" relay. I thought I understood until I really looked at the pictures & reread the text. the diagram shows 4 pins on the add on, the actual relay has 5 pins. that didn't help. then some extra connections were thrown in, and aren't covered in the text, except to say they were added to allow going back to original later. has anyone done this mod, i need some help!!!!!! pics would be great, but i really need to know which pins to connect where? thanks in advance.

If you are doing the mod from vqpower.com, using the PC Buzzer, you do NOT need the relay. It does nothing for this (that I know of).

All you have to do is hook it up using just the red and black wires. One goes to the orange/green and the other goes to the orange (I can't remember which goes to which though).

I did this mod a few months ago, without the relay, and no problems whatsoever. If you want I'll look at mine and see what wire goes where.

as acj might tell you, the buzzer can be mounted inside the back bumper very easily. there is a hole already there which will allow you to run the wires to the trunk

taadaa all done. ran the wires out of the trunk thru the grommet and mounted the buzzer to the underside of the bumper. she buzzes now. value of this mod--time will tell!!! thanx for the heads up about not needing the relay.
