Ok, so my buddy's father gets a brand damn new 2004 Maxima SE. Guess what me and him do. You guessed it, race 'em We went to this old abandoned asphault plant manufacturing place with a hella long private *paved* airstrip (Well, it's a long road. I guess thats what it is.) . So here's the setup, my friend is a more experienced driver and driving the '04. I am a realively novice driver dring the more-or-less stock '96 GLE. We take off, he burns my *** so bad it wasn't even funny. I mean, I couldn't even compete. He was ahead of me by the time I hit the middle of first gear. Aftermath: I blew a back tire burning out (Gravel i guess) and discovered that you just can't argue with that kinda horsepower. Well, I must go and pay homage to the 2004 shrine.

Howcome you raced him when it was pretty much given that you were gunna get toasted? My Aunt just bought an '04 Max and those things haul ***, they have like what? 265-275HP? They're crazy, maybe if you had some good mods would it have been a better match but stock '96 vs. stock '04 was probably just a waste of gas. Oh well, practice driving, get better, mod your Max and call a rematch when you're cars a little more even with his.
