i just bought a fstb and a cone intake for my 96 gxe

im havin problems with both ! ! !

the problem w the fstb is that it wont tighten the ends of them screw in a little bit but not far enough

the intake the gold piece inside the air filter im sure anyone thats done this knows what im talkin about its not unscrewing!!

somebody please help me with any feedback they can

 

It'd REALLY HELP if you gave more information like the manufacturer of each component....

 

The year would be helpful too, as with the 99s the fstb is a little tricky.
