need some help.

my headers went bad, my crank shaft went bad and only God knows what else went bad under there.

i need a new engine for my 95 5 speed maxima.

is there such a thing as getting an upgraded engine or am i limited to a 95 engine. can i get a 99 4th gen or 2000 5th gen?

or can i get something different altogether?

You are pretty much limited to a 95-99 engine, but anything is possible if you have enough money......and there is no such thing as an upgraded engine in a 4th gen max.

Headers went bad? Mabye you mean heads......

sometimes you can find a engine on ebay for pretty cheap w/good miles if you want to go that way. just enter maxima engine in you search and a couple of vq30s will be right there. also check a couple of junkyards if you have any in your area you may luck up and find one

Hey dude,

I recently had my motor replaced, luckily some of my Amigos could do the install. The motor cost $300, it had 60k on it. VQ's are cheap to buy, installation is a b!tch though. It sucks being carless doesn't it??
