Lowering springs = toe out = not good
If you're lowered, make sure to get an alignment. Prior to my H&R springs I had Intrax. My car was aligned with Intrax, but after a while I couldn't stand the ride of the Intrax and went with the H&Rs. After installing the H&Rs (which only sit .25" in the front), the car tracked fine so I thought nothing of the alignment. Over the past 1.5 years I became increasing annoyed by the lack of overcenter feel, a general feeling of twitchiness in the steering, and severe pavement tracking on rutted surfaces. It never occured to me that such a mild increase in ride height could change the toe. Last week I took my car to a shop and told them the car tracks straight, but I think the toe is out because of the steering issues I was having. The guy kind of looked at me like I was clueless then gave me a smile like "sure I'll take your money, sucker". An hour later I came back to get my car and the guy said the toe was significantly off compared to spec. One tire was basicially straight and the other was actually fractionally pointed out. Everything else was fine. After a weeks drving, the difference is very surprising. The steering feels heavier especially at higher speeds and the tracking and twitchiness issues have improved dramatically. The steering is still a bit overboosted for my tastes, but the car feels quite a more controllable and stable.

I agree, my toe goes out a bit more often than when I was not lowered, kills the tires too. And they also always tell me, toe was significantly off also. But mine goes out of whack 2x a year, so maybe something else is wrong with mine?
Any thoughts as to why this maybe happening? Like what parts in my suspension may be bad that may be possibly causing this condition Dave?
