Racing Fuel

to tell you the truth, there is no real point to put that high of an octane in our car, it would be a waste of money i think, because the compression of our engines isnt high enough to even need anything higher than 93. so...........dont waste the $3 or $4/gallon that you would pay for that stuff

All of them are safe, but unnecessary unless your running a lot of boost or nitrous. If your car is stock or near stock, you'll just burn out O2 sensors and your cat.
And you'll lose power on race gas vs. pump gas. Higher octane will reduce the chances of detonation and allow you to run more power, but it doesn't produce any power on it's own.

Your car is not going to go any faster on race gas than pump gas man. If your car isn't detonating (which it shouldn't be on 93 unless there is something wrong) it's not going to change anything.

It's not gonna make you go faster, but as long as it's unleaded your fine. The tracks I go to only have unleaded up to 104. The 108 and 112 are leaded.

yeah dude race gas will just make you slower. For example if the car needs like regular to run, you will put in premium all of the sudden car becomes unresponsive. You only use race gas when you run crazy compression or you wonna turn up the boost.

Umm. The higher the octane level, the SLOWER or more resistant to ignition it is. So up to a point, higher octane will help (right up to the point where the ks doesn't kick the timing back). After that, it will HURT perfomance as you now getting less energy per firing stroke as you could with a lower octane.

I use 114 unleaded Pro Fuels Mark 5 http://www.speedwaybikes.com/sponsors/fuel.htm
However as stated above its not to make you go faster its used for protection against detonation.

I wouldn't say it's only for nitrous or boosted cars. I run faster with 96ish octane then I do on 93 because of my JWT ECU.

Maybe your ohmmeter and resistor were broke too foo
