The Project
I posted a couple of weeks ago the I basically inhearted my 90 year old mums 97 base Max and asked what to do to pep it up. Well first step last week was a short drive over to Budget exhaust. ! hour and 250 cdn plus only 15 bucks to install it I had a new ss y pipe. I am impressed to say the least I have fooled with cars and bikes for 40 years, can't think of anything that ever gave so much bang for the buck. Tip in and bottom end are really much stronger, don't notice so much on top but this is an auto. these 15 inchers are going up in smoke....lol..This week going to pick up a cold air system. budget does not make them now, but the chap who made them there has his own place in Hamilton now so I asked him to make me one last week and he said sure. he is going to talk to a friend who does chips and see if he can do one for my 97. Still trying to get some rims from e-bay and then we can put some new shoes on. Let ya know what happens, this site has been a big help and what people say about that strangled y pipe is the truth.....wow is all i can say.....cheers....phil

Think I'll stick with one auto, have 1 4spd bike, 2 5spd bikes ,and 1 with a 6sp. 97 Nissan king cab has a 5spd and 60 bugeye Sprite has a 4spd. Onse inawhile it's nice to be shiftless....lol. And I already had bookmarked and printed off that site....it's a goody
