I have 18's too, you can definitly feel a difference bottom end. You have to remember that you are moving much more mass with the same drivetrain. It will slow you down a bit. I don't have any numbers for you either. However, I sitll beat up on Hondas!

weigh one of your 16 inch tire/rim combo and then weigh the next tire/rim combo and see how much weight you are adding per tire/rim.

ricer math
take that total and multiply times 4 ____
Take your total and multiply time 10 _____

then you will be close to knowing how much slower the car will be. if you gain 200 lbs, then your .2 slower using the old for every 100 lbs you add it will set u back a .1 at the track.

well im heading back to riceville, later on !

i guess i will be honked at at red lights cuz im about to order some 28.5 lbs 19"s soon ! RIM ONLY !

BUMP, time for a low end mod. what u guys recommend besides the ECU?

i understand that we will need TORQUE to pull these rims and TORQUE is created by restriction, so whats a good low end mod to pull some heavy rims ??

It depends on which 18s you get. There are some heavy ones and some light ones like BBS CHs.

Your gonna be running more than a 60lb wheel tire combo

Your gonna have to go boost to make up for that. I bet your car wouldn't make it out of the 17's at the track with those things on.
