Few questions about installin my new suspension

well i have been waiting for this time to come for a few months now, i am about to order my suspension this week and will be installing it on the weekend of the 24th i hope, and will be doing this myself with the help of my father. so i have a few questions. one is will i have any trouble getting the old suspension off being as the car has 106k on it, alot of the bolts and what not im sure have a good bit of rust and all that fun stuff. i was wondering if maybe if i start spraying wd40 on various bolts now, every now and then that maybe come time to do this it will be easier to get everything off. my other question is, is there anything else i should buy for when i do this, right now i plan on buying the illuminas and h&r springs (maybe a front strut tie bar, but unsure). is there anything else i should get?

thank you very much in advanced!

I don't know about spraying wd-40 on bolts and stuff...I'm assuming it depends on the condition of the bolts, but I have not done my suspension yet so good questions.

I can tell you right now that you chose an excellent setup from what I have researched. I will also go with illuminas and H&R springs.

From what others have said, I know for a fact that you should plan on buying KYB dustboots for you shocks if you haven't already. Beware that you will need spring compressors so go ahead and rent them at autozone.

Finally, I know many have strongly recommended getting some transparent plastic tube-like hoses or some kind of tape so that you can wrap the bottom and top of your springs with to eliminate squeeking noise and what not.

Hope this helps

Good luck and be sure to tell me how it went. I want to do it right the first time, even if it means you making mistakes and telling me about them first hand.

get hands on a breaker bar for the lower struts nut(very tight) theres a few items i would suggest you buy most people don't do it and end up taking suspension apart a few times
this rubber seats goes at the bottom of each coil

on top of front strut mounts

on top of rear strut mount

more items

front strut mounts

no need to buy rears unles they are bent or rusted to the point it comes apart(very unlikely)

this 2 (2 different kind)bushing goes on the shaft of each rear strut(very cheap)

and while your working on your suspension why not change the front struts bearing like 30 bucks a piece but worth the money
