fog lights keep burning out?

When I bought my 98 SE both of the fogs were burnt out, so I just relpaced them thinking nothing of it. 2 years later I have gone through countless pairs of H3's in order to keep them running. After awhile I checked the fuse under the hood, and it was burnt out, so I switched it, however, they kept burning out.
Has anyone else had this problem and if so what did you do?
help,
thanks

There is most likely a short somewhere. My old VW would burn headlight bulbs over and over. They didnt last 3 weeks. In the end my boy found a short, fixed it and it never gave me a problem again.

Try wrapping the wires in electrical tape so that they cannot hit one another and short themselves out.
I had one that kept going out and I did this.....it has been quite a few months lasting now.

my passenger foglight always goes out. somehow, water gets in there, and when i disconnect the connectors, there is water inside of it. now i just wrap it in electrical tape, and havent had a problem since.

And make sure you are turning the lights on/off with engine running. Avoid voltage/amperage spikes. SAme thing happens with intermitant shorts.

i tried tape and it worked for about 3 weeks and my drivers side went off again...im going to try again wit tons of electrical tape now.
thought i put enough, i put quite a bit...but at least i singled it out to drivers side. no one i know wants to check the whole wire to see if theres any other issue...hopefully i get it to work now for good.
