Diff grille with the skyline kit.

Now I know the skyline kit comes with its own grille that you can m\put a metal mesh behind, but I saw numerious pictures of diff grilles in with the skyline kit. Did they cut off the existing piece of the skyline kit and just put the new grille in? Heres a pic of what i mean.

There are two different versions of the skyline front piece. The urethane version comes with the grille already attached to the rest just need to add the mesh. The second one is the f/g material and you will need a 97-99 grille. the 95-96 grille will not fit.

I thought about doing the same thing before i got my car painted. I was going to cut it off and use my stock GXE chrome grille. But i think the mesh grille allows more cooler air to get to my radiator especially when i decide to go boost with a FMIC.
