Exhaust pipes visible from side of car?
I recently got my SP2 installed on my 99 maxima. After some modifications to the B-pipe we got it to look right (the tip). Is it normal to be able to see the B-pipe from the side of the car? Would it be too low if its visible? I really didnt want it to be visible but maybe the old one was visible and I just didnt notice it because it wasnt as reflective. If you have an aftermarket cat back exhaust system please post a picture of the side view so I can see if mine needs to be adjusted more to not show. I will try to post some pics ASAP. Thanks in advance guys

nissanfreak, you know that crossmember that "supports" the b-pipe in the back?
Mine was hanging low also, and I took the crossmember off, wrapped mechanics rags around it, then wrapped flexible sheet metal around the rags. To hold it all together, I used (can't think of what theyre called) thos metal screw-tie, exhaust ties i guess. It pushed my b-pipe up about 1.5 inch, and it looks much better. just be sure to trim the excess rag off if there is any outside the sheet metal.

hey nissanfreak how did the SP2 work for you what exactly did you have to do for it to work? i acquired a used SP and i installed it on tuesday night the B-pipe does hang a little lower so i assume that is how it is supposed to since i have a 97-99 SP and my car is a 99. the only mod i had to do was plug a O2 sensor bung that was located after the CAT and since you also own a 99 SE-L you also know there is no O2 sensor there. so far i love the SP no complaints how about you and the SP2?
