Replaced CV joints still sound...need suggestions

I just replaced both my CV Shafts on my 95 nissan maxima. I didn't ahve much of a problem except getting the right one out because it had siezed a little iwthin the retaining housing. Other than that, no problem.

However, they have been bad for a long time now (both had the outter cv boot ripped). So now on my driver side, when i make only really sharp left turns it still makes a good noise sometimes. However most my turning it normal again with no noise.

Have the bearings gone bad in the hub assembly? Or is this something else?

Is this something I coudl probably do? Is there a better way to fix? Should I just replace the whole hub assembly?

Let me know. Thanks for any help guys.

Bearings most likely. You can do it yourself. Look in the faq or the how-to's.
