Changed trunk letters to carbon fiber!

Just wondering if anyone else had done this, shaved the burger fat off but I love the "MAXIMA" name so i changed it to carbon fiber, what do you think?

Matches nicely with the carbon Altezza's, more picks on my WWW below

Yup, looks cheap as hell. Nothing says cheap like fake CF. You could've spent $10 and tinted them, they'd look much better.

i'm not quite feeling them either. It would probably look nicer on a white maxima to have it stand out but from far away it looks like its just dirty/unwashed. I think a shaved butt would look better.

That looks rice-er-riffic! So you're right to say it matches well with the tails.
J/K.....well.....sort of

honestly, i'm not feeling it either. the black cars just look better if it's completely shaved... this might work better on a white max tho...

but hey, it's your car...

You're really not able to distinguish the letters from the trunk as well as the taillights from the trunk. Would look better with an outline. IMO. Never seen these before, kudos.

Hey we've all got our own tastes, thanks for the feed back, for those who are interested they are a decal sheet and I had to cut each letter individually, took a little time.

Yeah, or spent $5 shipping charge and gotten them off someone who shaved his/her rear in a 99 SE-L. I honestly don't like the "maxima" lettering because it's either gold or silver. But on my 99 SE-L all lettering came smoked/tinted, which looks fine as hell....just wondering if it's like that on all SE-L's.

It looks fine from farther away...looks like the tinted badges on some lexuses. But up close it looks cheap..
