Alright I have a 96 Max and it's having a noise, we'll two noises. The first noise is when i slow down in drive or stop in drive. This noise is a kind of wistle and it seems to be comming from the left of the engine bay if you were standing in front of the car(where all the belts are). So I thought my tension pulley bearing was bad and replaced it, yet the sound is still there. Anyone know what could cause a sound in that area? I figured maybe a vacum leak but I can not find one. Also the other noise is when Im turning right. It sound's almost like a tire squeal but it isnt. I have to be going like over 30 or 40 mph to make it do it but it sounds like a squeal and rattle combined comming from the right of the car. I'm thinking I might need struts but not sure, maybe the strut plates on top too? Sorry for the long post but if anyone can help me figure out these noises I'd appreciate it.

the whistle noise might be your alternator about to give out. and the squeal you hear could be just what your thinking about your struts, cause i have the same noise..
